HOW LONG DOES TREATMENT TAKE?

Prior to the first CyberKnife treatment, patients visit HOA so that we can obtain the imaging (e.g. CT, MRI, PET scan) required to map the tumor or lesion and develop a treatment plan. Patients then return for an initial treatment session, which the actual takes just 15 minutes to one to three hours, depending on the size of the lesion(s) being treated. Generally, most patient treatment plans are completed in one to five sessions.
